What started as a Thanksgiving tradition in Hawaii back in 2005 turned into something much bigger than Junior ever imagined. Inspired by family recipes, he began sharing his homemade sweet potato pies with coworkers — and the response was instant. Over time, the pies spread through barbershops, beauty salons, and local Black-owned businesses, growing organically through community love. Officially launched five years ago, Junior’s Sweet Potato Pie has become a holiday favorite, known for rich flavor, smooth texture, and that homemade touch people can’t stop talking about.
